Avalanche Bridge Will Add Native Support for Bitcoin and Launch a Wallet

Avalanche announced that the Avalanche Bridge will expand support for the Bitcoin network, enabling Bitcoin holders to securely transfer their BTC onto the Avalanche public blockchain and use it within Avalanche’s DeFi ecosystem. In addition, Avalanche will release Core, a wallet for Web3 users. The wallet will be embedded in the Avalanche Bridge and will support wallet users to interact directly with DApps on the Avalanche network. Core will reportedly be released in two phases: a Core browser extension in late March and a Core mobile app in early Q2.
