Chainlink VRF v2 Is Now Live on Mainnet

TokenInsight news, blockchain oracle Chainlink announced the release of Chainlink Verifiable Random Functions (VRF) v2. Besides running on the ethereum mainnet, Chainlink Network plans to deploy on other blockchains such as Polygon and BNB Chain. Upgrades to v2 include the introduction of a subscription management application to reduce the gas cost of VRF requests, the ability to adjust gas limits, configurable block confirmation parameters, and the ability to request multiple random numbers in a single on-chain transaction. In addition, Chainlink VRF v2 offers smart contract developers an easier way to configure and scale randomness requests while reducing request transaction costs by up to 60%.
