Namada, a privacy-focused layer 1 chain in the Cosmos ecosystem, announced an incentivized testnet that will reward participants with 3% of its total token supply. Named as Namada Shielded Expedition, this is a multiplayer role-playing incentivized testnet aimed to battle-test the protocol before mainnet launch.
Participants, including both validators and users, can join a competitive game to test the network for its consensus algorithm and Sybil resisteance. A total of 30 million NAM (3% of the 1 billion total supply) tokens will be distributed to those who succeed in the game.
Namada has already announced a community airdrop, allocating 65 million to researchers, developers and stakers on Cosmos Hub and Osmosis.

Namada plans to launch mainnet in the first quarter of 2024, the network aims to enable asset-agnostic multichain privacy using zero-knowledge proofs for transferring assets across different blockchains.
