The ERC-7585 proposal introduces a novel design for minimum value selection storage proofs on Merkle trees. This design comprises two key components:
- MixHash, a new hashing algorithm intended to replace commonly used algorithms such as Keccak256 and SHA256.
- Public data storage proofs, which enable anyone to present proofs to a public network, verifying their possession of a copy of specific public data marked by MixHash.
The proposal also delves into the practical implementation of this design across various scenarios and suggests enhancements to the ERC-721 and ERC-1155 standards.
