Fidelity to Launch Spot Bitcoin ETF in Canada

TokenInsight news that asset manager Fidelity Investments has received Canadian regulatory approval to launch a spot bitcoin ETF in Canada, and it is reported that the firm has no intention of waiting for a decision from the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) on whether to allow a spot bitcoin ETF in the country. In addition, the ETF is the Fidelity Advantage Bitcoin ETF (FBTC), which will provide direct access to physical bitcoin. Currently, Fidelity Investments has approximately $4.2 trillion in assets under management.
