Grayscale Bitcoin ETF Conversion Application Is "noticed" by SEC

TokenInsight News, SEC has issued a notice seeking feedback on proposed rule changes to convert GBTC into a spot ETF, which means the spot Bitcoin ETF is starting the clock for launch. The earliest date for approval is 24th Dec, if SEC did not put any extensions on it. NYSE Arca had filed a 19b-4 application on October 19 seeking to list the converted GBTC ETF. However, the SEC has extended the application regarding the bitcoin spot ETF several times, most recently pushing back the decision date on the VanEck Bitcoin ETF to November 14.
