The company is seeking partnerships with Amazon, Netflix and other tech giants as well as launching NFTs. In addition, Sanrio is currently building a team, expected to be established in April, with the goal of creating global characters and crossing over into the metaverse and NFT, eventually rivaling brands such as Disney's Mickey Mouse and Princess Elsa.
