TokenInsight news, Boba Network, an Ethereum Layer2 solution, has announced the launch of its mainnet, the Layer 2 Optimistic Rollup, which Boba hopes will reduce gas costs, increase throughput, and expand DeFi and NFT capabilities.
In addition, OMG Foundation will also release a new $BOBA token to support decentralized governance of the network. Boba Network is renamed from the original OMG Network and $OMG holders will receive a $BOBA drop, but no more information has been disclosed on the exact snapshot time and allocation.
