Perpetual Protocol Is Moving to Vote-escrowed Model with Staking on Ethereum Mainnet Deprecated

Optimism-based DEX Perpetual Protocol announced that $PERP is moving away from the old staking model to a new vote-escrowed token (veToken) model, and staking on Ethereum mainnet will be deprecated. The last staking payout will be on June 21st, then the staking program rewards will be redirected to $vePERP holders on Layer2. Users need to unstake their $PERP, bridge $PERP to Optimism, and lock $PERP into $vePERP. Those who successfully migrate staked $PERP to $vePERP and lock for a minimum of 13 weeks will receive an airdrop of 100 $OP and 100 $PERP.
