Privacy Infrastructure Nym Closed $13 Million Series A Funding Round led by a16z

TokenInsight news, privacy infrastructure Nym closed a $13 million Series A round of funding at a $270 million valuation. The round was led by a16z, with participation from Huobi Ventures, HashKey Capital, Fenbushi Capital and others. Nym uses blockchain to decentralize its hybrid network (mixnet), in which nodes are rewarded with tokens for providing traffic, and nodes may also inject obfuscated traffic packets when needed, making it difficult for others to parse the information contained therein. Previously, Nym closed a $6.5 million round of funding led by Polychain Capital in July of this year.
