Starknet Halts Quantum Leap NFT Campaign

Ethereum Layer2 network Starknet started the Quantum Leap NFT campaign today at 5 am UTC to commemorate the mainnet launch of the Quantum Leap upgrade. The campaign was planned to last 24 hours. However, due to a network issue, Starknet has halted new mints of the NFT.

In a statement, Starknet said, "The campaign immediately met enormous demand, which significantly exceeded our expectations. Unfortunately, it also uncovered an issue on the network that prevented us from providing good user experience under this type of heavy load. Therefore, we have made the difficult decision of temporarily halting the remainder of the drop. We hope we’ll be able to resume the drop within a few days."
