Layer1 blockchain TON announced its partnership with Telegram and the launch of TON Space, a self-custodial crypto wallet built for Telegram users. The wallet, which is now accessible via Telegram settings, will be launched globally in November, excluding the U.S. and some other countries.
Meanwhile, Telegram has chosen TON as its Web3 infrastructure. As part of the partnership, Telegram will offer priority access to its global advertising platform Telegram Ads to TON-based projects and partners.
John Hyman, Telegram's chief investment officer, said, "With this partnership, we are putting digital ownership rights in the hands of our entire user base."
According to TokenInsight data, the price of $TON went up by 13.25% over the last 24 hours, trading at $1.9214 now.
