Crypto native trader @Crypto_McKenna is forming a DAO called FreeAssangeDAO to raise capital for Julian Assange's legal fees in his defence against his extradition to USA. According to his tweet, the DAO will do this process by bidding for an NFT auctioned by Julian's family on his behalf.

Julia Assange is an Australian editor who founded Wikileaks in 2006. WikiLeaks came to international attention in 2010 when it published a series of leaks provided by U.S. Army intelligence analyst Chelsea Manning. Arrested in 2019, Assange has always been confined in Belmarsh maximum-security prison in London. Source
