Memecoin madness has arrived on Coinbase’s Ethereum layer-2 scaling solution Base, bringing with it everything from remarkable shitcoin surges to classic token rug pulls.

While the chain is still in a very early stage and its mainnet went live for less than a month, there are several projects worth having a look on Base:

Aerodrome - trading and liquidity market, a Solidly DEX.

Pike - Lending market, featuring a multi-chain lending market, and unifying liquidity on Base, Ethereum, Arbitrum, and Optimism when launch.

CAP - a perps DEX from Arbitrum, now the contract go live on Base, but UI will only available later this month.

Rebase - a bridge between Ethereum and Base.

Sushi has launched on Base, capitalizing on the lack of legitimate DEXs on the chain
