Based on the statistical results, the exchange spot listing number and speed ranking are as follows:

Spot Listing

MEXC listed 461 spot, ranking first in terms of quantity, followed by Gate with 317. Meanwhile, Binance and OKX list only 24 and 19 spot, respectively, adopting relatively conservative strategies in comparison. In the second half of November, the meme season triggered a bull run, driving a surge in spot listing across all major CEXs.

Narratives Overview

During this period, over a third of all spot listings were concentrated in the Meme sector. This trend was particularly evident on MEXC and Gate, where 39.26% and 23.97% of their listings, respectively, fell into this category. In contrast, OKX, Bybit, and Bitget focused more on infrastructure projects, accounting for 31.58%, 26.23%, and 21.57% of their spot listings, respectively. Meanwhile, Binance stood out for its focus on the DeFi sector, where 33% of its newly listed projects belonged.

On-chain Trading Zone

MEXC and Gate both offer users spot trading areas for early on-chain assets: Meme+ and Pilot, respectively. Within the selected time range, Gate listed more on-chain spot assets, while MEXC stood out with a superior Official Spot Transition Rate and a lower Break Issue Rate.

Spot Listing Speed

Based on the movement of trends in the market, this report identifies four hot sectors: Meme, AI, DeSci, and Celebrity Meme. For each sector, two types of tokens are selected: tokens listed on the most selected exchanges or tokens with a surge in trading volume in a short period.

$TRUMP and $VINE are notable representative celebrity meme projects, both were listed on multiple exchanges. Among them, MEXC stands out for its clear advantage in speed of spot listing.
