Contentos is an underlying public blockchain project designed and built for the digital content industry based on blockchain technology. It is expecting to keep everyone eternally record their own digital tracks by means of creation; to empower each creation and data with the entitlement and due values, create a more equitable, open, healthy and orderly environment for global content production, right confirmation, promotion, delivery, and transaction. Contentos is independently developing an underlying public blockchain adapted to content industry needs, expecting to reach the transaction confirmation in seconds at zero transaction cost, with the aid of the saBFT (Self-Adaptive BFT) consensus mechanism. The underlying public blockchain of continued development will be more suitable for live streaming rewards, comments, thumbs-up and other high-frequency interaction demands in the content community. At the end of March 2019, Contentos started the public blockchain test and is gradually importing the actual users, in an effort to verify continuously the ecological reward mechanism model and user carrying capacity.

Bitcoin is one of many cryptocurrencies currently finding its way across the world of business and finance, Bitcoin is a cryptocurrency and was thought of as Internet money in its early beginnings. Unlike fiat currencies Bitcoin is considered a decentralized currency that means that a network of users control and verify transactions instead of a central authority like a bank or a government. Bitcoin still works like real money one person pays another person for goods and services however once Bitcoin is exchanged, the record of the transaction is publicly recorded onto a ledger known as a blockchain, which other Bitcoin users known as miners verify the transactions in the blockchain via Proof of Work. After a certain amount of transactions have been verified by a miner, they will receive newly minted bitcoins for their work and thus new bitcoins will be added into circulation, while the number of bitcoins in circulations are now in the multi-millions range, the maximum amount of bitcoins that can ever be created is capped at 21 million. The creation rate is automatically halved every few years as more bitcoins are added into circulation, whilst this system is modeled after gold, mining difficulty is always increasing and makes finding new bitcoins more rare as the number of available bitcoins reaches the 21 million cap. As bitcoin has matured as a cryptocurrency there has been more companies warming to the idea of using various bitcoin exchange facilities to gain exposure to the volatile bitcoin price while a few websites such as reddit WordPress and overstock have begun accepting bitcoins, most major retailers have yet to take the plunge into the cryptoverse whils other pioneers have decided to create their own bitcoin forks and have listed new projects on other cryptocurrency exchanges.

It is important to note that the Ripple Network also functions as a currency exchange between all types of fiat currency, XRP is a digital coin that is built for providing the source of liquidity to payment providers market makers and banks while Ripple system makes sense for large corporations and is set to revolutionize how money moves around the world in a large scale Ripple has shown that it can handle tremendous amount of transactions per second when compared to other cryptocurrencies on the market at the moment.

Aeternity is a decentralized æpps platform. It scales through state channels that run smart contracts. It introduces a new language that supports formal verification and allows to write simpler, safer code. The VM accommodates compiled solidity contracts. Aeternity uses an ASIC-resistant, memory-bound Proof-of-Work (PoW) with less than 15 seconds block time. It features an integrated naming system and oracles, which could be used to request and access data from various data providers. Most importantly, all components are native features of the Aeternity system. They are not meta layers on top of a blockchain (like Lightning, Raiden, Oraclize), but parts of the core protocol. Ethereum Classic is an open-source, public, blockchain-based distributed computing platform featuring smart contract (scripting) functionality. It provides a decentralized Turing-complete virtual machine, the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM), which can execute scripts using an international network of public nodes. Ethereum Classic also provides a value token called "classic ether", which can be transferred between participants, stored in a cryptocurrency wallet and is used to compensate participant nodes for computations performed. The classic ether token is traded on cryptocurrency exchanges under the ticker symbol ETC. Gas, an internal transaction pricing mechanism, is used to prevent spam on the network and allocate resources proportionally to the incentive offered by the request. The Ethereum platform has been forked into two versions: "Ethereum Classic" (ETC) and "Ethereum" (ETH). Prior to the fork, the token had been called Ethereum. After the fork, the new tokens kept the name Ethereum (ETH), and the old tokens were renamed Ethereum Classic (ETC). Ethereum Classic appeared as a result of a disagreement with the Ethereum Foundation regarding The DAO Hard Fork. It united members of the Ethereum community who rejected the hard fork on philosophical grounds. Users that owned ETH before the DAO hard fork (block 1920000) own an equal amount of ETC after the fork. Ethereum Classic passed a technical hard fork to adjust the internal prices for various opcodes of the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) on October 25, 2016, similar to the hard fork committed by Ethereum a week previously. The purpose of the hard fork was a more rational distribution of payments for resource-intensive calculations, which led to the elimination of the favorable conditions for attacks that were previously conducted on ETH and ETC. A hard fork held at the beginning of 2017 successfully delayed the "bomb complexity" that was added to the Ethereum code in September 2015 with a view of exponentially increasing the complexity of mining and the process of calculation of new network units. In late 2017, a hard fork occurred which changed the monetary policy with unlimited emissions to a system similar to Bitcoin.

Other projects like OmiseGo are now building on top of Ethereum, using this as a parent chain and providing scaling solutions such as Plasma to really push the boundaries of what is currently possible with Ethereum, other such projects like Raiden are also important in the long run as they allow transaction speeds to ramp up, whilst there are a range of other projects to speed up bitcoin exchanges and bitcoin applications such as the lightning network, Ethereum too will be using sharding along with other side chain projects to allow for a much more efficient and expansive system for everyone to participate. Whilst Ethereum is a platform that is specifically designed for people to build these kinds of decentralized applications with its own EVM (Ethereum Virtual Machine) allowing for peer-to-peer network for sending messages and a generalized blockchain with a built-in programming language, Ethereum can be used to build financial applications that are fully trustworthy and transparent because they run on a cryptographically secure system allowing for the storage and management of your property/digital property/digital assets using smart contracts, other applications such as social networking and messaging systems that allow users to maintain control of their own data systems for trading underutilized computational resources like CPU time and hard drive space and eventually tools for online voting and distributed governance and the most exciting applications are yet to come since this space is so new, some people are focused solely on the Ethereum price or how Ethereum price predictions are going to play out, sometimes it¡¯s not only the value of the price of Ethereum but the actual projects which successfully deploy on the Ethereum chain which will ultimately help discover the true potential of this technology, by providing a universal programmable blockchain and packaging it up into a client that anyone can use, the Ethereum project hopes to do the same for peer-to-peer human collaboration as a whole to create and expand the cryptoverse and push Ethereum forward!

Cardano is a decentralized and open blockchain, a cryptocurrency project, and completely open source. Cardano is developing a smart contract platform to provide more advanced functionality than any previous protocol. It is the first blockchain platform that evolves led by philosophy of science and research. Cardano is the first blockchain project developed from the field of philosophy of science and is the only project designed and manufactured by a global team of leading academics and engineers. Crucially, Cardano's technology is secure, flexible and scalable, and is available to millions of users. As a result, some leading experts have already deliberated the project and design decisions have taken shape. Scientific rigor is used in mission-critical systems. For example, aerospace technology and banking have been brought into the digital currency arena and have a high degree of security. ADA features and innovations are as followings: 1. Adopt a layered ecosystem design to achieve high scalability. The layered blockchain ecology is a landmark concept of Cardano. The whole system is divided into two levels, the settlement layer and the calculation layer, to solve the problems in money aspect and smart contracts aspect. 2. Explore the philosophical balance between regulation and freedom. In Cardano's design philosophy, the regulatory requirements are fully considered, and the privacy of the user is considered as much as possible, and an optimal balance between the two is sought. For example, if it is necessary and the user is willing to do so, KYC (customer identity) and AML (flow of funds) information can be submitted in a targeted manner to meet the most basic regulatory requirements. Ontology MainNet, Ontology 1.0, was launched on June 30th, 2018. Ontology 1.0 provides new high-performance public blockchains that include a series of complete distributed ledgers and smart contract systems, and at the same time supports public chain customization and chain network collaboration, while continuously providing common modules in various distributed applications.
