The underlying Teller protocol has operated as a lending protocol since 2019 and supports both no-collateral lending through licensed lending partners and asset-backed on-chain loans against assets such as BTC, ETH and tokenized stocks. Its newer Debit AI layer provides a conversational AI interface through which users can access lending and perform on-chain activities such as swapping, bridging, borrowing and yield generation.
