The Coinbase team hopes that $cbETH will achieve robust adoption for trade, transfer, and use in DeFi applications. With $cbETH, Coinbase aims to contribute to the broader crypto ecosystem through creating high-utility wrapped tokens and open sourcing smart contracts.
