WFTM is a wrapped version of FTM that enables it to be more easily used within DeFi. FTM is the native blockchain token used to pay for transaction fees on the Fantom network.
A portion of fees (~30%) from network operations are burned to reduce the supply and increase FTM scarcity for token holders
