Ethereum Developers Launch Shadow Fork of Mainnet to Test Shanghai Upgrade

Ethereum developer Marius Van Der Wijden said on Twitter that the developers are finalizing a shadow fork of the Ethereum mainnet. The shadow fork will be used to provide a testing environment for the Shanghai upgrade, which is expected to happen in March.

In last week's Ethereum All Core Developers Execution call, the developers said they would launch Devnet 4 for the Shanghai upgrade this week.
