Amboss Launched New Service to Simplify Liquidity Acquiring on Bitcoin Lightning Network

Reported Decrypt, Lightning Network data provider Amboss has launched a new subscription service called "Hydro" to simplify the process of acquiring liquidity on the Lightning Network. This addresses a common challenge faced by businesses and users accepting Lightning payments.

The Lightning Network, known for its faster and more cost-effective Bitcoin transactions, can be complex to navigate without a custodian. Businesses accepting Lightning payments often need a deep understanding of Lightning "liquidity," which can be a daunting task.

With Hydro, merchants can purchase prepaid Ambucks credits in advance, allowing for the automatic procurement of liquidity as needed. Users can specify their preferences for Lightning channel leases, such as the amount of inbound liquidity required and the desired node size. Hydro utilizes Amboss's marketplace, Magma, to identify channels that align with the merchant's requirements, ensuring the best possible price.
