Audius Closes $5 Million in Financing

TokenInsight news, Audius, a decentralized music streaming platform, announced that it has closed a $5 million funding round. Investors in this round include artists such as Katy Perry, The Chainsmokers, and Nas, as well as industry leaders such as former Sony Music CEO Martin Bandier, Michael Kives, CEO of investment firm K5 Global, and John Josephson, CEO of performance rights organization SESAC. To date, Audius has raised $8.6 million from Coinbase Ventures, Pantera Capital, Multicoin Capital, and other investors. In mid-August of this year, Audius became the first streaming platform to integrate with video-sharing giant TikTok.
