Previously according to official news, BNB Chain cross-chain bridge BSC Token Hub (the bridge between BNB Beacon Chain and BNB Chain) suffered an attack by hackers. The hackers exploited the vulnerability to cause an impact of about $100 million, about a quarter of the last $BNB tokens burn.

The official community responded quickly after the incident with its internal and external security partners to freeze about $7 million in funds. Due to irregular activity they are temporarily pausing BNB Chain.

As effect of the event, $BNB price dropped 3.78% in 24 hours and the current price is $285.42.
