On December 2nd, Ankr's $aBNBc token contract was exploited, resulting in trillions of $aBNBc being minted and $5m damage to Ankr. Shortly after the exploit, an address capitalized on the Ankr bug to gain over 15m $BUSD at a cost of 10 $BNB. Binance has paused withdrawals on the attacker's and the arbitrageur's addresses. Both Ankr and Helio Protocol said they will compensate victims.
