DAO Maker is a fundraising platform for start-up projects. It aims to allow project developers to gain access to financial support more smoothly and retail investors to participate in the IDOs of start-up projects more easily.
On the investor side, DAO Maker designed a tier system depending on the amount of $DAO (the ERC-20 governance token of DAO Maker platform) staked. The more $DAO one stakes, the greater the winning chances and amount of allocations one can get.
MakerDAO plans to optionally redenominate 1 MKR into 24,000 NGT tokens as part of endgame PeckShieldAlert: DAO Maker Exploiter Transferred 500k $DAI to Tornado Cash DAO Maker Attacker Transferred 1 Million $DAI to Tornado.Cash PeckShieldAlert: DAO Maker Attacker Has Transferred 200 $ETH to Tornado.Cash DAO Maker V2 Will Add Cross-Chain Stablecoin Farms and Other New Features
