Tag project was launched in cooperation with Dongdaemun's Designer Club, an offline shopping mall for women's fashion in Korea. Tag has established and operated an association to manage fashion design copyrights and designer in the clothing wholesale and retail industry, where copyright has not been protected properly. By registering Tag NFT, a designing registration/management platform, the Tag project makes it possible to protect clothing design copyright and to be tradable with econimic value, utimately establishing a concept of Clothing Design Copyright and building an ecosystem.
Copyright of clothing designers were relatively not protected enough compared to other copyrights. This project aims to secure and protect the rights of clothing designers by establishing an unprecedented clothing design copyright registration/management system to minimize design copyright disputes and provide a platform for transacting copyrighted works. The ultimate goal is to build a new ecosystem by converting invisible right for works to tradable products that have economic value.
