BOB is a Hybrid Layer-2 that fuses Bitcoin’s security with Ethereum’s smart-contract ecosystem: it uses BitVM-based optimistic verification on Bitcoin to secure an L2 rollup and operate trust-minimized bridges for BTC, ETH and other L1 assets, aiming to concentrate BTC liquidity in a Bitcoin-anchored DeFi hub.
